The original kitchen lacked flow and connection. Its closed layout and separate zones no longer matched how the family lived or their vision for a cohesive home. So the brief was clear: a timeless yet modern Shaker style kitchen that felt both lasting and fresh, linking smoothly with the butler’s pantry, laundry, and alfresco areas.

In response, the team crafted a calm and unified series of spaces. Throughout the design, they used consistent textures, soft tonal palettes, and carefully placed appliances to bring everything together. As a result, the kitchen feels serene, organised, and easy to live in every day.

One of the standout features is the hidden pivot door. It quietly connects the kitchen to the laundry and butler’s pantry, while keeping the clean Shaker facade intact. In addition, Blum REVEGO pocket doors allow the bar and appliance zones to disappear completely when not in use. This means the kitchen always looks tidy and calm, no matter what’s happening behind the scenes.
