This welcoming yet stylish room is a total transformation from its original design. The previous layout was simple and no longer suited the homeowners’ lifestyle. They were looking to create a true hub, with room to expand for their growing family. It needed to have better pantry storage and a more functional layout, all while cultivating a stylish and refined feel. Creating a space for entertaining was also a key focus, so ensuring the updated layout accommodated for this was at the forefront of the designer’s mind.
Now this kitchen is a light-filled and spacious area complete with a U-shape design to maximise the available space. The cool-toned satin-finish whites add the much-desired sophistication, while the softer touches of timber in the flooring, shelving and lampshade add a welcoming warmth. The brushed-metallic brass finishes on the tapware and cabinet handles complete the look for a refreshed yet timeless finish.
Soft but cool-toned LED light strips add an ambient glow to the area as well as illuminating the work spaces. A generous bar zone complete with a wine fridge allows for dining and relaxing when the homeowners are entertaining.
