A Statement In Colour
There are certain colours that are always going to make a statement, and the custom pink tone, used to revamp this once-tired apartment space, is definitely one of them.
Deliberately chosen to reflect the vivacious, fun-loving personalities of its owners, it leaves little doubt that this is a place for merriment and gathering. Cleverly designed by Nobby Kitchens, there’s also plenty of practicality built in, much of it concealed behind the low-profile two-pack cabinetry.
Fond of entertaining, the homeowners wanted to keep benchtops clear, so ample storage was built into the design to tuck everything away neatly. The refrigerator and dishwasher were also fully integrated, and an understated black ZIP mixer added to streamline the look, with dramatic Carmen Blue granite benchtops and splashback incorporated to balance the pink and add an extra touch of glamour.
Lovingly decorated with retro-inspired stools and artwork in keeping with the owners’ eclectic tastes, it’s now hard to believe that a cookie-cutter apartment kitchen once stood in this vibrant, standout space.
